Oxnead Hall in Norfolk has a real mystique, grandeur and romance about it. After various wedding industry awards including Brides Magazine ‘Wedding Venue of the Year in Norfolk’, and The English Wedding Awards ‘Wedding Venue of the Year’ you can see why. It is a really special place, with a really interesting history. In fact, every time I go back to film a wedding I seem to find out more about it. Its been occupied since prehistoric times. Archaeologists have even found parts of axes and spearheads! As you can imagine the estate has changed hands over the years. The Paston family (one of the richest in Norfolk) lived at Oxnead for over 350 years between 1420 - 1732. In 1735 a 1000 plus letters were found at Oxnead giving an amazing insight into how life was in the 15th century. Interestingly these were written in English, what is interesting about that I hear you say? Well at this time most letters were written in Latin, plus bearing in mind most people at the time were illiterate!

Adding some Magic to your Oxnead Hall Wedding - quite literally!

Booking a magician to your wedding creates a real buzz and excitement for you and your wedding guests. That’s exactly what Becky & Chris did when they booked Ed Crafter. I saw first-hand how magic at your wedding can really dazzle wedding guests and be thoroughly entertained with lots of amazing magic, laughter and energy. In terms of wedding videography, this is of course creating some great stuff to film for several reasons. Wedding Videography can capture some great reactions to what a wedding magician is doing. Also as a wedding day is so crazy busy and you of course won’t see everything that happens on your wedding day as a bride and groom so getting to see some snippets of magic and your seeing your wedding guests be entertained is a real joy!
