My first visit to Curds Hall Barn in Norfolk for Wedding Videography for Maeve & Joe’s Wedding. Having only recently opened its doors to the world of romance, love and weddings, let’s check out this brand new wedding venue and this latest wedding film. I must warn you, that once you watch it will only end in tears…cue the tissues… it’s pretty emotional!

Curds Hall Barn Wedding Videography

So a brand new wedding venue?! Let's check this out! My first visit to Curds Hall Barn in Norfolk for Wedding Videography, but I am not the only one, having only recently opened its doors to the world of romance, love and weddings in this rural and rustic setting. It's very much a family affair as Curds Hall Barn was inspired by a family wedding at The Barn and The Woodshed which then led to lots of investment and renovations to open its doors as a new Norfolk wedding venue.

Curds Hall Barn is surrounded by fields and optimises rural Norfolk. So for wedding videography and wedding photography, this can be a real treat. The buildings have a range of textures inside and out, with timber on The Woodshed (clues in the name I suppose!), rustic walls in The Barn inside and out, plus what looks like an old grain building next door with metal exterior giving hints to the buildings old rural life before it has a dash of glam and lipstick added ready for its first wedding.

Curds Hall Barn give you exclusive hire for your wedding, so your wedding day is all about you and are very keen to let you put your own stamp on things. So where is it? It is located in the heart of Norfolk and is located just off the A47 not far from Swaffham and Dereham. Curds Hall Barn can offer larger weddings with up to 120 guests down to more intimate weddings of around 30 people.

Wedding ceremony wise you have a few options available. For better weather, your wedding ceremony can take place outside on the grounds, you can tie the knot inside in either The Barn or The Woodshed. If you are looking for a church wedding I am reliably told there are x2 churches nearby in a place called Fransham. So nearby in fact you can see Curds Hall Barn from one of them. So this means less travelling, more champagne!

Oakleigh House in Swaffham- great for bridal prep and great for Wedding Videography

When you watch Maeve & Joe's Wedding Videography Highlights Trailer you will also see somewhere new as well. A few minutes drive from Curds Hall Barn you will arrive in Swaffham. Now if you are looking for some fab accommodation nearby and somewhere for Bridal prep or Groom prep, this is definitely worth a look. Its been recently renovated and updated but has a lot of history to it as well. It is situated in the town centre of Swaffham. The outside is very grand, very historic but doesn't give much clues to its interior. The front facade was built in around 1755 but there is an older part of Oakeligh House that is said to date back to the Elizabethan times.

Before Oakleigh House was sold to its current owners it was featured in 'Kingdom' - a UK TV series produced for ITV and featured Stephen Fry as Peter Kingdom a Norfolk solicitor. The then dining room was used as Peter Kingdom's office.

Oakleigh House is enormous, which makes it perfect to house lots of wedding guests (up to 22) with its 10 bedrooms, 3 reception rooms and 4 bathrooms plus spaces for 4 cars out the front! The decor and fixtures and fittings exude design flare and are beautifully bold, colourful, modern with hints of history too - but dont take my word for it - just watch Maeve & Joe's Wedding Videography Highlights Trailer above!
